Mulebuy, the agent behind the Spreadsheet name
This site carries Mulebuy’s name because shoppers did. It is not Mulebuy and has never been run by Mulebuy. Here is how its archived pages describe the service, alongside the limits of our website availability check.

What we found on October 20, 2026
Our own check, October 20, 2026, early afternoon in China. We opened mulebuy.com in a desktop browser. After about forty seconds, Cloudflare answered on the site’s behalf with error 522, its code for a server that never responded, and the page body was empty. The www address did not load at all: the browser stopped after a loop of redirects. Requests from a script, through two different network routes, timed out after thirty seconds.
We found no statement from Mulebuy about the outage on any channel we could read. Its notice feed, as last archived in August, ends with an item dated July 31, 2026, about natural disasters delaying deliveries. What others have reported since August, and how much of it we could check, is set out on the updates page.
The site check could not verify ordering availability. It does not establish closure or the state of individual accounts, orders or balances. The guide therefore explains the historical interface without directing readers to start a new Mulebuy order.

Mulebuy, described from its own pages
Mulebuy’s archived pages describe a China shopping-agent service: buying items from Chinese marketplaces on your behalf and forwarding them abroad. You pasted a product link from Taobao, Tmall, Weidian, 1688, Xianyu, Xiaohongshu or JD; it paid the seller, received the parcel at a warehouse in Guangdong (its help pages named Huizhou), photographed the item, stored it and packed it with your other items for international shipping. Its iPhone app first appeared in April 2025, and its pages carried a 2025 copyright line.
The homepage greeted visitors with a search bar and the line Your Global Mule, Your Chinese Buyer, shown below as it looked in June 2026. Its website ran in eleven interface languages and showed prices in ten currencies. Support was by email, on-site chat and tickets during Beijing business hours, 09:00 to 18:00.

How its service worked, by its 2026 help pages
The August 2026 FAQ described an order-handling target during Beijing working hours; handling is not the same as completed purchase or seller dispatch. The official buying guide separates Orders, domestic transit and Warehouse. Check the actual status at each handover. Its return policy described a conditional five-day request window after Stored, subject to seller acceptance and the item remaining eligible.
The August 2026 storage page described 90 free days and a limited paid extension. Those historical terms do not establish an existing item’s current deadline. Photo counts, optional fees and return conditions varied across dated pages, so use the current account quotation and the policy applicable to the order. A country-specific historical return statement should not be treated as a blanket approval to send goods back.
Its written stance on what it would buy
Mulebuy’s prohibited items page, as archived in August 2026, closed with an anti-counterfeiting policy. It said products bought through Mulebuy had to be authentic and that buying counterfeit goods was strictly prohibited, and it listed what it could do in response: refuse orders, close accounts including linked ones, deduct funds, and destroy goods at the warehouse at the buyer’s cost. Its interface also carried a message refusing to buy items flagged for possible brand infringement.
This site takes the same line in what it publishes. We write about finding and comparing ordinary goods in a catalog, and we do not help anyone source copies of protected designs. The rest of the prohibited list covered the usual categories: weapons, drugs, hazardous materials, currency, protected animals and plants, and country-specific limits such as leather shoes for Italy and beef for the United Kingdom.

The channels that outlasted the website
When the website stopped answering, other Mulebuy channels stayed up for a while. On October 18, 2026 its Discord server still accepted visitors through its public invite, an official Telegram community was still listed, and its apps were still on the App Store and Google Play, last updated on July 31 and August 1, 2026. All of them pointed back to the offline website.
We do not link to these channels. A working chat room is not evidence that orders are being handled, and we would rather not send readers to sign up for anything tied to an agent whose site is down. If Mulebuy publishes a statement, we will summarize it on the updates page with its date.
